If you're like me and have no previous art experience and no tablet then you might wanna try out some techniques that make pony drawing faster and easier. Esp for the mouse or touchpad user. Since all ponies use the same shapes, you can apply them to all

By using simple shapes like circles, worms, etc there is no need for fancy drawing tools and time consuming construction sketches.

You kill off two birds with one stone, you get the coloring done while drawing at the same time.

(additional mouse drawing tip: When you use a mouse for drawing be sure to increase its pick-up speed. Most can be adjusted in the control panel and if your mouse supports it. I increased mine from 60hz to 120hz. Better accuracy and motion sensing.)
